Toyota has launched the Etios Xclusive at Rs 7.82 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi) for the petrol variant, and Rs 8.93 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi) for the diesel. The Xclusive edition gets minor cosmetic changes to the exterior and interior, with the addition of a touchscreen infotainment system to set it apart from the regular Etios.

Exterior styling changes include chrome detailing on the wing mirrors, window visors, ‘Xclusive’ badges and a new Blue Metallic paint shade. Features such as fog lamps, alloy wheels and rear parking sensors are carried forward from the standard Etios.

Inside, the biggest differentiator from the standard car is the dashboard. Here the instrument panel and door armrests get a wood grain finish, seen only on the armrests in the standard Etios. The centre console is now dominated by a Smart Link touchscreen infotainment system that sits below the instrument cluster and comes with Bluetooth connectivity, gesture control, voice function and smartphone-enabled navigation function. The seats of the car also get a new two-tone fabric. Like with the standard model, the Xclusive also features dual front airbags and steering-mounted audio controls.

Mechanically, the Etios Xclusive carries forward the 1.5-litre petrol and 1.4-litre D-4D diesel engines from the standard car.

Speaking on the launch, Mr N Raja, Director and Senior Vice President (Sales and Marketing), Toyota Kirloskar Motor Pvt. Ltd. said, “We are delighted to launch the all new Etios Xclusive. It is our endeavour to continuously upgrade our offering in line with the changing lifestyle preferences of our customers. We are also confident. The all new Etios Xclusive will further delight our customers with its enhanced technology and premiumness”.
