The current generation C class is on the roads since quite a while. Mercedes is now preparing a slightly updated C class model with some minor styling tweaks.

As the spy shots suggest, the new C will carry many visual upgrades including new headlamps, slightly redesigned tail lamps, front bonnet which is little more contoured and redesigned bumpers. The overall facelift tweaks will resemble the current Mercedes design theme. The new C class range is set to get reworked versions of today’s four-cylinder petrol and diesel engines, and an optional seven-speed automatic gearbox in place of the current five-speed unit. A range of new fuel efficient and emission friendly CGI direct injection petrol units can be expected.

Mercedes will show face lifted C class sedan in next year’s Detroit Motor Show in the USA. Expect the face lifted C class to be launched in India sometime early next year.
