Honda has launched ‘Select Edition’ of its premium hatchback, the Jazz. The new edition comes with cosmetic changes and a slight hike in its already steep price tag.
‘Select Edition’ Jazz now comes with alloy wheels, rear parcel shelf and front and rear mud guards. There are no changes to its engine department and the Jazz is powered by four-cylinder 1.2-litre i-VTEC engine producing 89bhp and 11.2kgm of torque.
No changes have been made to Jazz’s compact shell that hides a cabin that has massive space inside and comes with ‘better-than-City’ interior quality. Loaded with Honda’s values of global design, great drivability, fuel efficiency and safety, the Jazz is a world class product but let down by the steep price tag attached to it.
Honda Jazz has been one of the costliest hatchbacks available in the market and the new variant further gets dearer by Rs 10,000. The ‘Select Edition’ is priced at Rs 7.66 lakh (ex-showroom, Mumbai) and will be available in the showrooms from mid of March 2010.
