Maruti Ciaz will be launched next month. The carmaker has revealed that prices of the Ciaz will be out by mid-October after an international reveal at the upcoming Paris Motor Show 2014. 

Dealers have started taking bookings since September 3, for an amount of Rs 21,000. However there is no information shared on the deliveries of the car. 

The Maruti Ciaz sedan has two engines on offer; a 1.4-litre K10B petrol unit that makes 91bhp and a 1.3-litre Fiat-sourced diesel unit that makes 89bhp. Both engines have been borrowed from the Ertiga MPV. Maruti claims ARAI-certified 20.73kpl fuel efficiency for the petrol model and 26.2kpl for the diesel.

It will be available in four trim levels V, V+, Z and Z+ and seven colour shades. The range-topping trims will have features like 16-inch alloys, touchscreen infotainment system, rear air-con vents, climate control and keyless entry.
