Hyundai's strategy of squeezing in the Grand i10 between its i10 and i20 range seems to be working to its benefit with the company receiving around 1,10,000 enquiries and 10,000 bookings for the car.

The carmaker claims footfalls at its dealerships across the country have increased 55 percent and that there have been 70,000 test drive bookings for the Hyundai Grand i10.

Rakesh Srivastava, senior vice president, sales and marketing, Hyundai said, “With the outstanding response that the car has received post its launch, we are confident the Grand i10 will set a new benchmark in the compact high entry segment. Despite the challenging market scenario this quarter, we feel that Grand will continue to generate substantial customer interest and excitement all throughout.”
