Luxury hybrid MPV records its highest annual sales yet as demand for premium chauffeur-driven vehicles continues to grow.

The Toyota Vellfire has crossed the 5,000-unit sales milestone in India, a little over six years after its introduction here in February 2020. According to the Society of Indian Automobile Manufacturers (SIAM), Toyota Kirloskar Motor has dispatched a cumulative 5,001 units of the Vellfire by the end of April 2026.

Over half of the Vellfire’s total sales – 2,756 units – have come in the last 25 months alone, reflecting rising demand for luxury MPVs in India. The current-generation Vellfire, launched in August 2023, has played a major role in this growth.

  2. Second-generation model launched in India in 2023
  3. Current Vellfire is priced from Rs 1.20 crore to Rs 1.30 crore
