The Czech brand will reveal its flagship electric SUV later this year.

The production-spec version of the Skoda Vision 7S concept, which was showcased at the 2025 Auto Expo, will be called Peaq, the carmaker has now confirmed. To serve as Skoda’s EV flagship, the 7-seater SUV is expected to be the zero-emission equivalent of the Kodiaq. Interestingly, Skoda has so far used an E-start, Q-end naming strategy for its electric SUVs – Enyaq, Elroq and Epiq – but the Peaq is the first model to break this.

In March 2025, Skoda released teaser images of the upcoming Peaq, featuring Vision 7S-like LED headlights and tail-lights forming a T shape. These are bridged by Skoda’s signature Tech Deck panel, with individual light elements along its upper edge.

As for the rear, the spoiler gets a split design, and the ‘SKODA’ letter mark on the tailgate is finished in black. Notably, the concept previewed many firsts for Skoda, including its new wordmark-only logo and the Modern Solid design language, the latter of which has now also been applied to the Kylaq and Kodiaq.

Like the carmaker’s other electric vehicles, the Peaq will be based on the modular MEB platform. Skoda previously confirmed an 89kWh battery pack, a range of over 600km and fast-charging capability of up to 200kW. "Our new flagship model takes our brand values of spaciousness and practicality to a whole new level...We believe it will be a really important car: beautiful from the outside, very practical from the inside,” Martin Jahn, sales and marketing boss, told Autocar UK earlier.
