Maserati India will launch the updated Grecale SUV, GranTurismo coupe and GranCabrio convertible on October 30. The three cars will launch in the country a little over four months after their global debuts. All of them get powertrain updates, subtle exterior revisions and additional features.
The track-focused Maserati GT2 Stradale will also be showcased alongside the three cars.
New Maserati Grecale, GranTurismo, GranCabrio: Exterior
2027 Grecale
The updated Grecale gets a new front bumper and grille. The bumper also gets a ‘shark-nose’ design inspired by the Maserati MCPura supercar, along with air curtains. Other new additions include the Grigio Lamiera Shiny exterior finish from Maserati’s Fuoriserie personalisation programme, along with new wheel designs.
2027 GranCabrio, GranTurismo
The updated front gets reshaped air intakes and a central splitter, which Maserati claims helps increase downforce. At the rear, the tail-lights now have clear lenses. Buyers can choose from seven new paint colours through the Fuoriserie personalisation programme: Green Jupiter Matte, Blu Denim, Bronzo Lucido, Bronzo Matte, Grigio Mistero, Rosso Velluto and Oro Lirico. New colour options are also available for the badges and exhaust tips.
New Maserati Grecale, GranTurismo, GranCabrio: Powertrains
2027 Grecale
As before, the updated Grecale has three versions: standard, Modena and Trofeo. The range-starting version gets a 2.0-litre four-cylinder turbo-petrol engine, producing 300hp. The Modena, however, now gets Maserati’s 3.0-litre Nettuno V6, with output pegged at 390hp, instead of the 2-litre motor. The top-spec Trofeo V6 makes 530hp.
2027 GranTurismo, GranCabrio
Both the GranTurismo and GranCabrio retain the Italian marque’s 3.0-litre twin-turbo Nettuno V6 engine. It produces 490hp in the Modena and 590hp in the top-spec Trofeo. The Trofeo gets a 40hp increase, thanks to higher turbo boost pressure and minor changes to the engine. Both models also get a recalibrated 8-speed automatic gearbox for quicker responses.
New Maserati Grecale, GranTurismo, GranCabrio: Expected prices
At present, the Maserati Grecale is priced between Rs 1.14 crore and Rs 2 crore. The GranTurismo starts at Rs 2.54 crore and goes up to Rs 2.72 crore, while the GranCabrio is priced at Rs 3 crore. The facelifted models are expected to cost slightly more.
