Indraprastha Gas Limited (IGL) has hiked its CNG prices by Rs 2 per kg, the fourth time in the last 11 days. This has pushed the CNG price in Delhi to Rs 83.09 per kg, an increase of Rs 6 per kg since May 15, 2026. Notably, CNG prices at IGL pumps have also increased in Haryana, Uttar Pradesh and Rajasthan.

As mentioned earlier, the latest revision in CNG rates is the fourth one since fuel prices have been on an upward trajectory. Prices per kg first rose by Rs 2 on May 15, by Rs 1 on May 17 and by another Rs 1 on May 23.

IGL is yet to issue a formal statement regarding the recent price hike. However, with the previous May 23 price increase, IGL stated that “the revision in retail prices of CNG has been effected only to marginally offset the impact of the increase in input gas cost along with a steep appreciation of USD”.
As per the Indian Oil Corporation (IOCL), petrol and diesel prices in Delhi currently stand at Rs 102.12 per litre and Rs 95.20 per litre, respectively, following the recent increase of nearly Rs 3 per litre across the country on May 25, 2026.
