Ahead of its official unveiling on May 22, the upcoming Honda City facelift has been spied without any camouflage. The image showcases a new front-end for the sedan, comprising new headlamps, grille, a restyled bumper and a new design for the alloy wheels.

Honda City facelift spied: What was spotted?
The undisguised car has a completely redesigned front-end with a sharper look for the LED headlamps. The grille also gets a new design with a honeycomb pattern, and the restyled bumper comes with a revised look for the fog lamp housings and air dam. There also seems to be a new design for the alloy wheels that are finished in black. Furthermore, the Honda badge is now placed above the grille. Also, a freestanding infotainment display was spotted, suggesting that a larger unit may be in place, along with a minor redesign for the dashboard.

Could likely get a powered driver seat and ventilated front seats
Fascia changes aside, the rear-end of the City facelift is expected to receive a do-over as well. The dashboard layout will feature minor revisions and, Honda could introduce new features such as a powered driver seat, ventilated front seats, and an optional 360-degree camera. There could also be new trim pieces and upholstery onboard.
As for powertrains, the City facelift is expected to continue with the current versions' 121hp, 145Nm, 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine paired to either a 6-speed manual or a CVT gearbox. The 126hp, e:HEV hybrid paired with an e-CVT would also be retained as well. Expect the City facelift to be priced slightly higher than the current model's price range of Rs 12 lakh to Rs 20 lakh. It will continue to rival the likes of the Hyundai Verna, Skoda Slavia and the Volkswagen Virtus.
