The first teaser of the upcoming Z9 GT only shows us a few design details. One of the visible details is a sleek LED strip around the headlamps, which also gets fine diagonal lines. The tail-lamps consist of horizontal and angular LED elements, with a body-coloured trim cutting across each tail-lamp. Also at the rear and right above the main tail-lamps is a pronounced ‘lip’.

Another exterior design feature revealed by this teaser is the ‘floating’ hubcaps with the Denza logo. The teaser also shows us glimpses of the Z9 GT’s interior, which gets a digital instrument cluster and a ‘Boost’ label – this could be one of this EV’s drive modes.

The teaser aside, Rajeev Chauhan, head of EV business at BYD India, told us that India-spec Denza models will get the same features as China-spec ones. This means the Z9 GT should get five digital displays, with the two units on the doors relaying the feed from the camera-based ORVMs (outside rearview mirrors). There are also heated, cooled & massaging seats, Level 2+ ADAS and rear-wheel steering.
