On the outside, the SQ8 looks like other Q8s but differentiates itself with an 'S' badging on the tailgate. It also gets wider air dams at the front, with certain elements of the exterior detailed in either black or satin silver. Alloy wheel sizes could likely range from 21 inches to 23 inches.

The cabin of the SQ8 will be similar to other Q8 models. There’s Alcantara and leather upholstery along with 12.3-inch displays for the infotainment and instrument cluster, the latter gets ‘S’-specific graphics. The equipment list could include a panoramic sunroof, a head-up display, and powered front seats with heating, ventilation and massage functions.
