The drop-top 'Cielo' variant commands a premium of Rs 85 lakh over the MCPura coupe.

Maserati has announced India pricing for the 2027 MCPura range. The standard MCPura coupe starts at Rs 4.35 crore, while the convertible Cielo version costs Rs 5.2 crore – compared to last year's prices, these are Rs 23 lakh and Rs 8 lakh more expensive, respectively. These prices, however, are bound to drop once the India-EU FTA goes into effect next year and lowers import duties on limited units of European-made pure-combustion cars.

The MCPura was launched globally just last year as the facelifted version of the MC20, and so it doesn't feature any big changes for the 2027 model year. Just ahead of the MCPura's rear axle sits a 3.0-litre twin-turbo 'Nettuno' V6 producing 630hp and 720Nm, which is routed to the rear wheels via an 8-speed dual-clutch automatic. 0-100kph comes up in a claimed 2.9 seconds for both the coupe and Cielo, while their top speeds are rated at over 320kph.

On the outside, changes over the MC20 include a more aggressive front end with additional gloss-black accents, new 'MCPura' badging, and fresh alloy wheel designs. Maserati also offers a broader gamut of exterior colours for the MCPura, including the AI Aqua Rainbow pictured above. It's finished in matte for the MCPura coupe and gloss for the Cielo, and changes colour in the sun to produce a rainbow-like effect. Additionally, the MCPura Cielo's roof can be opened or closed in 12 seconds at speeds of up 50kph.

The interior of the MCPura features an updated steering wheel, refreshed colour schemes and upholstery options, and a laser-etched 3D look for the Alcantara seats.

In India, the MCPura continues to rival the likes of the Porsche 911 Turbo and McLaren GTS.
