Vespa has updated its Primavera and Sprint S range overseas for 2026, bringing a mix of safety, convenience and cosmetic upgrades to its scooters.

Unveiled overseas, remains to be seen if Piaggio gets these models to India.
The biggest change is at the rear, the 125cc and 150cc variants ditch the traditional drum brake for a 220mm rear disc with a dual-piston caliper. Paired with the existing front disc and ABS, the brand claims a noticeable improvement in braking performance.
In addition to that - barring the 50cc model - higher displacement now gets a keyless system as standard, allowing ignition, seat access and vehicle location functions.
Both 125cc and 150cc models get new 12-inch alloy wheels with a five spoke design. The Sprint S adds a sportier touch with a new side grille on the left fairing, while the Primavera sees minor refinements to details like the mudguard crest and front ‘tie’ panel. The brand says the seat upholstery has also been updated.
A new fully digital LCD instrument cluster replaces the earlier semi-digital unit on most variants. It displays ride data, enables smartphone connectivity for calls, music and navigation prompts. The top-spec Primavera Tech continues to get a 5-inch TFT display.
Vespa continues to offer a wide spread of powertrains overseas including electric. Petrol variants use fuel-injected, 3-valve engines in 50cc, 125cc and 150cc forms. The Primavera and Sprint S remain Vespa’s most youth-focused, urban offerings. These updated models have been unveiled globally and remains to be seen if Piaggio brings them to India.
