TVS Victor to make a return

TVS is working on reintroducing its commuter motorcycle, the Victor, to rival competition from brands like Bajaj and Honda. TVS launched the very capable Scooty Zest 110 automatic scooter last year. It really did impress us with its plush ride and light handling manners. The bike was also the lightest in its class.

Now, our sources have also confirmed that the new Victor will be reintroduced in a completely new avatar. Spy shots of the bike being tested can be seen online, such as the one on Motoroids.com. Expect the new bike to be equipped with telescopic suspension up front and dual shock absorbers at the rear. A stubby, all-black exhaust is also seen here. TVS will equip the bike with stylish, 5-spoke alloy wheels and for braking duty, TVS may only provide a drum brake set-up on the Victor.

From the spied image, it’s clear that the bike will offer upright seating, without any weight being transferred to the wrists. TVS will launch the bike sometime this year.
