Premium pricing for Vespa VX

Piaggio Vehicles Pvt Ltd today added the Vespa VX variant to its scooter line up with a pricing of Rs 71,380 (ex-showroom Delhi).
The new variant comes with a 200mm disc brake at the front and comes with new pattern tubeless tyres. The instrument cluster has been revised and the pillion grab rail is now an all chrome affair.
 
There is also an option of a beige seat and there are two new colours, bright pink and turquoise green on offer as well. Other mechanical bits remain the same including the 125cc engine producing 10.06bhp.
 
The company says it has sold nearly 52,000 scooters since the launch of the Vespa last year.
