Rajputana Customs is recognised around India for their impressive customised motorcycles, creating several excellent looking bikes over the four years they have been around. This Jaipur based group of craftsmen started off with the 'Original Gangster', showcased at the 2010 Delhi Auto Expo. Sixteen amazing motorcycles later, they are all set to pass a new milestone, showcasing a customised Harley-Davidson Street 750 at the fifth season of Harley Rock Riders next month.

This is not the first time Rajputana Customs have customised a Harley-Davidson, having previously worked on a Harley Forty-Eight as well as Iron 883. This time round, the motorcycle to be modified was commissioned with them by the Milwaukee-based manufacturer.

Talking to us over the phone, Vijay Singh of Rajputana Customs said the whole process would take a month, and they are making minimal changes to the basic motorcycle itself. The theme is to give the Street 750 an old-school makeover, with a slightly raised single seat. Changes to the front end will stay limited, while Rajputana Customs will also work on the rear suspension, handlebars, footpegs, exhausts and a few other soft parts, leaving the Street 750’s impressive liquid-cooled refined engine and chassis unchanged.

The proudly made-in-India Street 750 has often been called a blank canvas by Harley-Davidson.  Talking about the motorcycle, Vijay tells us that this isn’t just a marketing spiel, for the Street 750 indeed makes a great motorcycle platform with plenty of options for customisers to tinker around with. He feels it is just as customisable as the Iron 883 and other similar specification Harley bikes, if not better.

The Harley Rock Riders, a two day festival, sees hundreds of Harley-Davidson riders come together. With Season V, bands such as Scribe, Blackstratblues and others will be performing live for the crowd.
