Harley-Davidson’s World Ride will take place on June 27 and 28 this year. Every kilometre covered by participants can be recorded by logging into the company’s online distance accumulator at h-d.com/worldride. Now a tradition, this ride first came about in 2008 created by  the Harley Owners Group, and was then known as Million Mile Monday. This single-day ride was extended to a two-day world ride in 2012 to give more riders the freedom to participate.

In this ride, participants can cover distances irrespective of how and where they ride. There is no limit to the amount of kilometres and no restriction on the selected motorcycle or brand.

Last year, participants logged in more than 10 million miles around the world. Now for 2015's ride, the event retains its two-day format, but shifts to the weekend to enable more riders from around the globe to participate.

Riders can record their mileage directly onto the World Ride website from mobile devices and share their riding stories and photographs on social media sites like Facebook and Twitter using the hashtag #HDworldride. Participants can also download a certificate of participation after logging in their mileage on the website. For more information check out h-d.com/worldride.
