Softer rear suspension and grippier tyres could be part of the updates

The teaser posted on the brand’s social media reveals minimal details. However, you can catch a glimpse of an off-centre circular TFT display similar to the current bike’s, along with bar-end mirrors, which could be an accessory – we’ll have to wait until the launch for confirmation. The video was shared with the caption, ‘If you’ve got the GRRR, you’ve got the grip,’ suggesting that one of the key updates could be grippier tyres, possibly replacing the current block-pattern rubber with something more road-focused.

During our time with the Guerrilla, we found the rear suspension to be on the firmer side. Royal Enfield recently updated the Hunter 350 to address a similar issue, and we could see a similar revision being introduced on the Guerrilla.

Mechanically, the bike is likely to remain unchanged, continuing to be powered by the 452cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled engine from the Himalayan 450, producing 40hp and 40Nm.

The Royal Enfield Guerrilla 450 is currently priced between Rs 2.56 lakh and Rs 2.72 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi), depending on the colour scheme. With these updates, prices could see a slight increase.
