Triumph has begun accepting pre-bookings for its sporty 1,200cc modern classic, the Speed Twin, ahead of its upcoming official India launch.

2021 Triumph Speed Twin: booking and launch details
Triumph recently gave its Speed Twin a thorough update for 2021, and the new bike is now on the verge of coming to our shores. The company has already begun accepting pre-bookings for Rs 50,000, indicating that an official launch is just around the corner. The Speed Twin will arrive in a single variant, and we expect it to be priced around the Rs 10 lakh mark (ex-showroom). This would mean a hike of a little over Rs 50,000, which is in-line with the price progression in the UK.
2021 Triumph Speed Twin: engine updates
Updates for this year include revised engine internals that result in a 3hp increase, to 100hp, and an unchanged 112Nm of torque that’s available 500rpm earlier, at 4,250rpm. The engine is also said to be more responsive and now exhales through new, brushed stainless-steel end-cans.
2021 Triumph Speed Twin: chassis updates
In the chassis department, front suspension has been beefed up to a fatter, 43mm USD cartridge fork from Marzocchi. There are new 12-spoke aluminium wheels that are now wrapped in grippier, Metzeler Racetec RR rubber. Triumph has also taken off the axially mounted Brembo brakes and fitted new radially mounted Brembo M50 Monobloc calipers.
2021 Triumph Speed Twin: design updates
There are also a few cosmetic enhancements to the 2021 Speed Twin. These include new anodised headlamp mounting brackets, and new brushed-aluminium mounts for the fenders, in addition to the aforementioned new wheels.
