The Himalayan 750 is powered by a new 743cc air/oil-cooled parallel-twin engine that produces 55hp at 7,000rpm and 63Nm at 5,000rpm. This is a decent step up from the 47hp and 52.3Nm produced by the 648cc parallel-twin engine that powers several other Royal Enfield models. Additionally, RE claims that 90 percent of peak torque is available from as low as 3,500rpm. The engine is paired with a 6-speed gearbox.

The chassis comprises a fully adjustable 43mm Showa USD fork with 190mm of travel and a Showa monoshock with adjustable preload and rebound, offering 175mm of travel. The bike rides on 19-inch front and 17-inch rear tubeless wheels, available in alloy or spoked form, depending on the variant and colourway. The alloy wheels are shod with CEAT Crossrad AT tyres, while the cross-spoke rims use Vredestein Centauro XR tyres.

Braking hardware includes twin 280mm discs at the front and a 255mm disc at the rear, both using two-piston calipers. ABS is switchable at the rear, while cornering ABS and lean-sensitive traction control are standard.

The standard seat height is 815mm, but accessory seat options available at launch allow buyers to either lower or increase it. The low seat brings it down to 795mm, while the touring seat raises it to 835mm. Ground clearance is rated at 205mm. The bike weighs 223kg in Europe, while the India-spec version weighs 224kg. Fuel tank capacity stands at 17.8 litres.

We’ve seen the Himalayan 750 undergoing testing multiple times and even got a closer look at it at the Himalayan Base Camp event last month, where we were able to gather some details about its electronics. This is arguably Royal Enfield’s most feature-packed production motorcycle yet. It gets five riding modes – Road, Road Sport, Rain, Trail and Custom – which adjust the engine mapping, traction control and ABS. The traction control has four levels in each mode – Low, Medium, High and Off – and the bike also gets cruise control.

All these settings can be accessed through a 4-inch circular TFT display, similar to the one on the Himalayan 450. It features Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity, along with navigation, phone and music controls. The bike also gets a SIM-enabled connected system with 4G and GPS.

Other features include a tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS), self-cancelling indicators, an emergency brake lamp, two USB Type-C ports and a new LED headlight.

The flagship Antarctic Silver colourway, which comes equipped with GIVI accessories including a top box, panniers, heated grips, handguards and an aluminium skid plate, is priced at GBP 8,699 (Rs 11.09 lakh).

For reference, the Norton Atlas, another India-made model yet to launch in our market, starts at GBP 8,250 (Rs 10.51 lakh) in the UK. Royal Enfield has not yet made an official announcement about the Himalayan 750’s India launch timeline. However, with Motoverse 2026 just a couple of weeks away, we can expect to hear India-specific details very soon.
