The brand’s 350cc models account for 92 percent of sales
Royal Enfield sold 10.10 lakh units in FY25, but those were combined domestic (9.03 lakh units) and export (1.07 lakh units) sales. With March 2026 numbers still to be factored in, Royal Enfield is expected to wrap up FY26 with estimated record India-market dispatches of 11 lakh units and exports of 1.25 lakh units.
The brand’s market power comes from its 350cc models. Of the 10.07 lakh units sold in the April 2025-February 2026 period, 9.31 lakh units – or a 92 percent share – came from four models: the Classic 350, Bullet 350, Hunter 350 and Meteor 350. This quartet gives Royal Enfield a commanding 94 percent share of the 250-350cc category, which recorded sales of 9.91 lakh units (up 27 percent YoY).
The Classic 350 tops with a 40 percent share, followed by the Bullet 350 that holds a 25 percent share. The Hunter 350 and Meteor 350 contribute the remaining 35 percent. The other four manufacturers in this midsize bike category account for the remaining 6 percent share.
In the 350-500cc category, combined sales of the 452cc Guerrilla 450 and Himalayan, at 32,994 units, are down 7 percent YoY, giving Royal Enfield a 27 percent market share. Bajaj Auto is the leader in this category with a 60 percent share (58,626 units).
Royal Enfield is also the leader of the 500-800cc segment. Dispatches of 42,640 units from the 650 range give the company a 97 percent market share of the total 44,156 bikes.
The 11-month sales split for FY26 shows that monthly dispatches surpassed 1 lakh units for three straight months from August to October 2025, with Royal Enfield clocking its highest monthly wholesales in October (1.17 lakh units).
