BluArmor intercom range: What’s new?
The C60 range replaces the outgoing C50 range as the brand’s flagship.
The new lineup is underpinned by BluArmor’s Ride Grid 2.0 platform, which enables scalable connectivity from simple rider-to-pillion intercom to unlimited group mesh on the C60 range. A key addition on the C60, C60+ and C60PRO is the ability to initiate private conversations within a mesh group — allowing riders to isolate communication with one participant and seamlessly rejoin the larger network. In typical BluArmor fashion, the C60 range attaches to the back of the helmet with MagDock 2.0. Both the C60 range and MagDock are now certified for IP67 water-resistance. The C60 range currently starts at Rs 10,999 and goes up to Rs 14,999 for the Pro variant. These prices are part of an introductory-offer and once the offer ends, the C60 range will start at Rs 15,999 and go up to Rs 24,999.

The C40 supports up to 20 users on mesh, although it does not allow simultaneous music playback over Ride Grid. Much like the C60 range, the C40 too attaches to the back of the helmet but with a ClickDock setup. The C40 is currently priced at Rs 8,999 (introductory) and will rise to Rs 12,999, once the offer ends.

At the entry level, the C10 focuses on a 1-to-1 mesh-intercom with a claimed 1.2km range and a 13-hour battery life. The C10 is compatible with all the other more-expensive offerings from the brand as a universal intercom without mesh, barring the C30. The C10 attaches to the side of the helmet, like a conventional intercom setup, and it too gets IP67 water-resistance. The C10 is priced at Rs 3,499 (introductory) and will go up to Rs 4,999, once the offer concludes.

BluArmor has also confirmed that the C20 and C30 will continue on sale, while the C50 effectively transitions into the new C60.
Across the range, features such as Hey BLU voice commands, Crash Detection and Deceleration Auto Alert are offered, along with Signature Audio by BLU (Barring the C10, that gets Dhwani by Blu speakers).
The brand also says its proprietary Hey Blu voice-activated communication system will be made reverse compatible with older models over time. However, it also adds that it will only roll-out 7-8 basic commands to begin with and soon add more commands with future updates.
On the hardware front, BluArmor has introduced a revised wiring setup that uses a single weave-style cable instead of a conventional cable manager, aimed at simplifying installation and allowing users to use separate speaker sets from other brands as per their discretion.

The T-stick mount (Standard for the C60+ and C60 Pro, compatible with C60) continues with Velcro but now gets an improved holder that sits below the mirror stalk, and the C60 range remains compatible with the MagDock system, including the older 1.0 version.
Orders for the revamped range of Blu Armor intercoms commences from April 15, with deliveries starting from April 20.
