At the launch of the Revolt RV 300 and RV 400, the company teased what might be its next offering. The teaser revealed the upper-half of a cafe-racer styled electric two-wheeler with text that read “to be continued.”

The motorcycle seen on the presentation was most probably in concept form, as it was missing many mandatory components like a number plate holder and turn indicators. It also appears to have quite an aggressive riding position, with the handlebar at almost the same height as the seat. However, the handlebar may not be this low-set on the production model or we may see Revolt add in adjustability to increase the height. While the cafe racer shown in the picture appears to have only a single-seat setup, the rear seat cowl will most likely be removable to reveal a longer seat that can also fit a pillion.

Interestingly, when we were trying to find out more about the Revolt RV 400 back in June 2019, we got to know that the EV shares its platform with the Chinese Super Soco TC Max but looks like the Super Soco TS1200R. However, the upcoming bike looks similar to TC Max, which is Super Soco’s cafe-racer styled offering.

The upcoming Revolt cafe racer will most likely share its drivetrain with the RV 400, where it’ll have an exposed belt drive and frame-mounted motor. We could see it use the same 3kW motor as in the RV 400 and TC Max that makes a claimed 50Nm. The electric bike will also have a bolt-on subframe, a USD fork, a monoshock and disc brakes. We also expect it to have a similar range as the RV 400.

The Revolt cafe racer could also be launched with a unique payment plan, just like the RV 300 and RV 400, albeit at a slightly higher cost. To recap, deliveries of the RV 400 will commence this month for the first batch in Delhi, bookings for which began on June 25, 2019. The company has confirmed that the RV 400 will be launched in Pune next month, followed by launches in Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Nagpur, Ahmedabad and Chennai in the next four months. Revolt hasn’t yet revealed when the cafe-racer styled EV will make its debut.
