KTM has issued a global recall for 2024 models of the 125 Duke, 250 Duke, 390 Duke and 990 Duke, as the brand claims that some fuel tank cap seals may not fully meet its quality standards.

1. KTM 390 Duke recalled due to faulty fuel cap seal
2. 125 Duke and 250 Duke are also affected by this issue

KTM will individually contact customers

Owners of the affected models should contact their nearest KTM service center for further clarity.

KTM says that during quality tests, it was found that a few fuel tank cap seals of the MY2024 125 Duke, 250 Duke, 390 Duke and 990 Duke may not fully meet quality requirements. Due to this, some fuel cap seals might develop small cracks, which could lead to fuel leakage. To prevent this, KTM will individually inform owners to book an appointment at their nearest authorised service center and carry out the replacement.

In addition, owners can check if their motorcycle is affected by visiting the website and heading to the ‘service’ section.

This issue affects only the 2024 models of the 125 Duke, 250 Duke, 390 Duke and 990 Duke. In our country, the 990 Duke was never sold, but owners of the other models should contact their service center for further clarification.
