Adishwar Auto Ride India (AARI) Pvt Ltd has announced a huge price cut on two bikes under its umbrella of various Chinese-owned brands. The Keeway K-Light 250V cruiser and the Zontes 350X sport tourer have both seen big price revisions.
- Zontes 350X sees second price cut since 2022 launch
- Keeway K-Light 250V sees price drop of Rs 71,000
- Price revisions on AARI-retailed brands likely due to lacklustre sales
Keeway and Zontes bikes see price drop
Zontes 350X has seen a price drop of Rs 1.05 lakh since launch.
Let’s start with the Zontes 350X because this is actually the second time this model has seen a price drop. Originally launched at a rather lofty price of Rs 3.45 lakh, the 350X first saw a Rs 46,000 price cut in January 2024 alongside other Zontes models. Now, AARI has announced an even bigger price cut of Rs 59,000 on the model, effectively bringing its price down to Rs 2.40 lakh. These two price cuts on the Zontes 350X add up to a total reduction of Rs 1.05 lakh since it arrived here in late 2022.
The second bike in AARI’s portfolio to have seen a big cut is the Keeway K-Light 250V cruiser. This is the first time the K-Light 250V has seen a price cut, although, at Rs 71,000, it's a huge one. Now this Chinese V-Twin cruiser retails at Rs 2.49 lakh.
AARI has not specified a reason for this price cut, but slow sales are likely to be the predominant reason for this.
