Harley-Davidson X440 price details
Now priced closer to Royal Enfield Scram 440
The Harley-Davidson X440 is offered in three variants – Denim, Vivid and S – with prices ranging from Rs 2.40 lakh to Rs 2.80 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). These prices will remain unchanged despite the recent GST increase from 31 percent to 40 percent for motorcycles above 350cc.
Harley-Davidson isn’t the first brand in this segment to hold prices steady. Bajaj recently made a similar announcement for its India-made Triumph and KTM motorcycles, including the KTM 390 models and the Triumph 400 range.
By contrast, Royal Enfield has confirmed price hikes across its line-up above 350cc, bringing the X440 closer in price to its rivals from the brand. The Scram 440, for instance, has seen an increase of up to Rs 15,641, with ex-showroom prices now between Rs 2.23 lakh and Rs 2.30 lakh.
The X440 is a product of the Harley-Davidson partnership with Hero MotoCorp and currently stands as the only model from the collaboration to wear the American brand’s badge. However, Harley-Davidson has confirmed that this platform will spawn one more product in the near future.
