CFMoto is becoming increasingly popular in recent years. Its 675SR-R recently became the exclusive motorcycle for the WorldWCR championship from 2027. Among the many brands and visitors at EICMA 2026, CFMoto showcased its flagship superbike, the V4SR-RR, developed from the Master of Speed vision first shown at EICMA 2024. Also shown was a track-only Carbon Black example, with a distinct all-black finish and carbon-fibre components.
- Ohlins suspension units, Brembo brakes and a full-titanium Akrapovic exhaust system among equipment offered
- Carbon Black variant is a track-only show bike example
- Global launch expected sometime next year
CFMoto V4SR-RR: What we know so far
CFMoto looks to position its first superbike as a strong track performer
We want to start by saying that CFMoto has not revealed the full specifications for the V4SR-RR. However, besides having a name that’s quite the mouthful, it has a list of equipment that suggests serious track performance. Considering this motorcycle was closely developed by CFMoto’s Moto2 and Moto3 riders, that’s neither unexpected nor surprising. At the centre of things is the 997cc 90-degree V4 engine making over 210hp with a redline of 15,000rpm. Torque figures, on the other hand, are yet to be revealed by the brand. The only other number we have to go on is the dry weight of the motorcycle, which is 180kg.
The other component gathering a lot of attention is the V4SR-RR’s active aero system with independently operated winglets. CFMoto claims a 20 percent increase in downforce while braking from 160kph (claimed top speed is 315kph), with the asymmetrical operation of the wings said to assist in turning the motorcycle. It also features a patented adjustable frame reinforcement system, Ohlins suspension, Brembo Hypure Sport brake calipers, Pirelli Diablo Supercorsa SP V4 tyres and a full-titanium Akrapovic exhaust system.
As for the V4SR-RR Carbon Black, CFMoto clarifies that it’s a show bike developed for EICMA 2026 as a non-road-homologated example. It features a distinct all-black finish and extensive carbon-fibre components, which should reduce the weight even further. It gets dedicated GILLES Tooling accessories and an STM dry slipper clutch that’s claimed to be derived from MotoGP race tech.
At the moment, that’s all we have to go on about CFMoto’s first litre-class motorcycle. The brand is yet to reveal the price or an official global launch timeline, but we’d expect it to happen sometime next year.
