2025 Ducati Panigale V2 details
New 890cc twin is 30hp down but significantly lighter
The 2025 Panigale V2 is powered by an all-new 890cc 90-degree V-twin engine that produces 120hp at 10,750rpm and 93.3Nm of torque at 8,250rpm. While this represents a 30hp drop compared to the outgoing 955cc Superquadro engine’s 150hp, Ducati mentions that it has focused on creating a more approachable, lightweight machine. As such, the Panigale V2 S weighs 175kg without fuel, making it the lightest Panigale ever produced. The standard Panigale V2 isn’t far behind, weighing 179kg.
As we’ve come to expect from this platform, the Panigale V2 comes equipped with a comprehensive suite of electronics, backed by a 6-axis IMU. Standard features include cornering ABS, traction control, wheelie control, engine brake control and a bi-directional quickshifter. The V2 S also gets launch control and a pit limiter as standard, which are available as accessories on the base variant. Riders will also have access to four riding modes – Race, Sport, Road and Wet – and a 5-inch TFT console.
The base Panigale V2 is suspended by a fully adjustable Marzocchi fork and Kayaba monoshock, while the V2 S gets fully adjustable Ohlins suspension at both ends. Both variants feature Brembo M50 monobloc calipers and come with Pirelli Diablo Rosso 4 tyres.
2025 Ducati Panigale V2 price
The 2025 Panigale V2 is priced at Rs 19.12 lakh for the base variant and Rs 21.10 lakh for the V2 S, representing a notable reduction from the outgoing model’s Rs 20.98 lakh starting price. Ducati India has also confirmed that the bike is fully compliant with E20 fuel regulations and that it will be available in a single Ducati Red livery for both variants.
With the new, smaller 890cc engine, the Panigale V2 now competes against middleweights like the Yamaha R9 and the recently launched KTM 990 RC R.
All prices are ex-showroom, India.
