The R-Design package on the S90 and XC90 sees the addition of a sportier body kit, new alloy wheels and new interior trim options.

The cars get a sportier front bumper with inset fog lamps and a unique finish to the grille.

New five-spoke alloy wheels add to the sporty styling.

Volvo says that it has tweaked the R-Design’s chassis to improve driving dynamics though did not specify any further mechanical changes.

The S90 and V90 R-Design will crown the model’s line-up when it goes on sale internationally sometime early next year.

With the S90 expected to launch in India by end-2016, the R-Design model could also be under consideration.
