Yamaha has launched the 2026 NMax 155 in Europe, featuring the brand's new YECVT electronic transmission system. The scooter was first introduced in the Philippines in March 2025 and now makes its European debut with the same powertrain and feature upgrades.
The NMax 155 is powered by a 155cc liquid-cooled single-cylinder engine with Variable Valve Actuation producing 14.9hp and 14Nm. The highlight is Yamaha's Electronic Continuously Variable Transmission (YECVT) that electronically controls pulley positions, offering Sport and Town riding modes. A downshift button on the left handlebar allows manual gear ratio changes for instant acceleration or increased engine braking.
The scooter features a 4.2-inch TFT display with Garmin navigation, smartphone connectivity for call and SMS alerts, LED lighting, stop-start technology, and under-seat storage.
