Kawasaki has updated the Z900RS for 2026 with comprehensive revisions to the powertrain, chassis, and electronics package while retaining its classic Z1-inspired styling. The retro-styled naked motorcycle gains electronic cruise control, IMU-based rider aids, and a bi-directional quickshifter.
The 948cc liquid-cooled inline-four engine now features Electronic Throttle Valves and produces 116hp and 98Nm - 5hp more than before. The gearbox receives revised ratios across all gears, and the bike also gets a new megaphone-style muffler with reshaped exhaust headers. Updated electronics include Kawasaki Cornering Management Function via a 6-axis IMU.
The Z900RS SE variant adds a Brembo brake calipers and Öhlins rear suspension.
