Rolls Royce Phantom Hummingbird image gallery

Rolls-Royce has revealed the Phantom Hummingbird, a specially commissioned model built as a private tribute to a client's wife. The Phantom Hummingbird was curated by the brand's Private Office division in Dubai, UAE, which is an invitation-only design studio where clients work with designers to commission one-of-a-kind Rolls-Royce cars. It's named after the hummingbird, which the brand says is a "symbol of joy, resilience, and the ability to find beauty in every moment." What's unique about this commissioned Phantom is the fact that it's the first Rolls-Royce in history with abalone shell marquetry. An abalone shell is an ear-shaped protective covering of a sea snail that produces blue-green lustre when it interacts with light. The high-end luxury carmaker says that the material is combined with mother-of-pearl to depict the shimmering feathers of a hummingbird.  The hummingbird theme extends to the interior as well, with special artwork across interior trims.
