New trim elements truly make these models stand apart.

A silver jubilee calls for something special, and that’s exactly what Škoda has done. The Czech brand introduced its first-ever product in India with the Octavia back in 2001, but began operations and setting up its facilities even sooner. With 25 years of presence in the country, Škoda Auto India is marking the occasion with exclusive 25th Anniversary Editions of three of its models – the Slavia, Kushaq and Kylaq.

The anniversary cars don’t just celebrate Škoda’s 25 years in India, they’re also a nod to the 130 years of Škoda globally. To keep things exclusive, only 500 units of each of these models will be produced, making them collectables for loyalists and adding a whole lot more badge value.

All limited edition models come with a 25-year badge.

Both the Kushaq and Slavia anniversary editions build on their Monte Carlo trims but add more to the existing features list and design enhancements. Both the Slavia and Kushaq go for a dark-themed look and are available in Deep Black or Tornado Red with contrasting accents on the grille, mirrors, bumpers, and alloy wheels finished in black for a sportier look. Meanwhile, a striking ‘25 Years’ badge on the B-pillar proudly sets them apart from other variants in Škoda’s line-up. Both these models also get a body kit with bumper spoilers, trunk and door garnishes for added premium appeal.

The Kylaq, on the other hand, offers a sleek black finish and a wider palette of seven exterior colours, giving you more choice while retaining the exclusivity of owning a special edition variant.

A slick 10-inch touchscreen with full wireless connectivity fits seamlessly into the dash.

Beyond the cosmetic changes, all anniversary editions get a host of additional features for added convenience, like puddle lamps for safe ingress and egress in the dark and underbody illumination on the Kushaq and Slavia for added flair.

Mechanically, things remain sporty as ever, with all three models retaining their punchy powertrains. Škoda has always been an enthusiast’s manufacturer, and these three models only up the ante. The Kushaq and Slavia continue with the 1.0-litre TSI (MT/AT) and 1.5-litre TSI (DSG) options, while the Kylaq sticks with its 1.0-litre TSI manual. Performance remains punchy and dependable, staying true to Škoda’s turbo-petrol strengths.

The Slavia anniversary edition is priced from Rs 15.63 lakh, the Kushaq starts at Rs 16.39 lakh, and the Kylaq is the most affordable of the three, starting at Rs 11.25 lakh. And with just 500 units of each, you’re best advised to book the one for you immediately.

Puddle lamps and underbody lighting are new across all models.

For Škoda, these anniversary editions are as much about emotion as they are about engineering. They mark 25 years of trust, resilience and passion in India, from that first Octavia in 2001 to today’s modern line-up. As special as these limited editions are, they also signal the start of a new chapter in Škoda’s journey on Indian roads, and we can’t wait to see what comes next.
