What will the Honda Elevate facelift look like?

Teaser videos of the Honda Elevate facelift hint towards a bolder look. At the front, the LED headlamps are connected by segmented LED daytime running lamps (DRLs). The gloss-black grille features a honeycomb pattern, and the Honda badge has been repositioned to the bonnet. Additionally, the thick chrome element above the grille now sports a black finish. At the rear, the LED tail-lamps get a connected treatment. Meanwhile, the 17-inch alloy wheels appear to carry the same design as before.

Interestingly, the new design elements on the Elevate facelift look very similar to those on the WR-V TrailSport HRC Concept showcased at Tokyo Auto Salon 2026. For those unaware, the WR-V TrailSport Concept is a special edition model based on the India-made Elevate, which is sold in Japan under the WR-V nameplate. The concept also gets orange accents and black alloy wheels, but whether these make it to the Elevate facelift is yet to be seen.

What will the Honda Elevate facelift interior look like?

Honda has provided a glimpse of the Elevate facelift’s dashboard, revealing more soft-touch leatherette padding. Expect minor revisions to the Elevate facelift’s overall cabin layout, along with new upholstery and trim materials. Like the current version, Honda could offer the interior in two dual-tone themes, namely white and black and brown and black.

The current Elevate misses out on some feel-good features that rivals offer. Honda is likely to fix this with the facelift. Expect additions such as powered and ventilated front seats, dual-zone climate control, a panoramic sunroof, rear sunblinds and updated graphics for the infotainment system. Teasers also reveal the presence of ambient lighting, which is an optional accessory for the current model. Meanwhile, features such as a wireless phone charger, part-digital infotainment system, a lane-watch camera system, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, an 8-speaker sound system, an optional 360-degree camera and a Level 2 ADAS suite will be retained.

Will the Honda Elevate facelift retain the powertrains from the current version?

Yes, the Elevate facelift is highly likely to continue with the same powertrain options as the current model, which gets a 1.5-litre 4-cylinder naturally aspirated petrol engine producing 121hp and 145Nm. Power is sent to the front wheels via a 6-speed manual or a 7-step CVT. Additionally, a dealer-fitted CNG kit can also be paired with this engine in manual guise for select variants. On the other hand, it is unlikely that the City’s strong-hybrid powertrain could make it to the Elevate facelift.

What is the expected price of the Honda Elevate facelift?

It’s worth noting that the current Elevate has a higher starting price than its rivals. It ranges from Rs 11.88 lakh to Rs 16.36 lakh, and prices are expected to be revised slightly upwards with the facelift. The Elevate will continue to take on rivals such as the Hyundai Creta, Skoda Kushaq, Volkswagen Taigun, Kia Seltos, Tata Sierra, Maruti Grand Vitara and Victoris.

All prices are ex-showroom, India.
