Follow usThe TVS Ntorq 150 is a sharp and sporty-looking scooter, and with an accessible price tag, there seems to be a lot of interest in the new offering.
The Ntorq 150's engine is a bored and stroked version of the Ntorq 125's unit. TVS has upped its capacity to 149.7cc and it's also equipped with the mild-hybrid iGo assist. It puts out 13.2hp at 7,000rpm, 14.2Nm at 5,500rpm (including 0.7Nm from iGO electric boost), has a claimed top speed of 104kph, and a 0-60kph acceleration time of 6.3 seconds.
The new Ntorq 150 makes use of the same chassis, albeit stregthened, as the 125. It shares its ground clearance (155mm), wheelbase (1,285mm), 22-litre underseat storage capacity, and a 5.8-litre fuel tank with the Ntorq 125. The design is stealthy with some loud colour options on offer. Additionally, it does look unique with a naked motorcycle-style handlebar.
The Ntorq 150 is equipped with a front disc brake, gets single-channel ABS as standard and features a traction control system. Additional safety tech includes crash and theft alerts, emergency brake warning, and hazard lamps.
There are two variants of the scooter: standard and TFT. The standard model gets the LCD/TFT unit seen on the top-spec Ntorq 125. Meanwhile, the TFT variant gets the 5-inch screen from the RTR 310 along with additional switchgear. The base variant gets three colour options, including Turbo Blue, Stealth Silver and Racing Red. On the other hand, the TFT variant gets Racing Red, Turbo Blue and Nitro Green.
