The Honda Elevate's 1.5-litre naturally aspirated engine delivers 121hp and 145Nm, and is mated to either a 6-speed manual or CVT gearbox. Rivals like the Hyundai Creta and Kia Seltos come with the same gearbox options as the Elevate, whereas the Toyota Hyryder, Maruti Victoris and Grand Vitara offer a 5-speed manual and 6-speed torque converter automatic. Meanwhile, the Sierra naturally aspirated petrol is offered with a 6-speed manual and 7-speed DCT gearbox options. Because the Elevate offers only a naturally aspirated petrol engine, we've compared it only with rivals that offer this mill.

It delivers the least fuel efficiency in manual guise but outranks the Seltos in automatic guise, albeit by a narrow margin.
