My budget is around ₹15 lakh. We already own a 2017 Kwid top model AMT. My current running is around 100km per day. I want a reliable engine along with good mileage so that running costs remain low.

If you're open to diesel options, you could consider the Hyundai Venue or Kia Sonet. Both share their engine and gearbox options. Opt for the manual version of either for maximum efficiency.
An excellent electric option is the Punch EV. If you can arrange for home charging, your running costs will be very low - something you will surely appreciate given your usage.
The Maruti Suzuki Victoris CNG can also be considered. Its engine is reliable, and the CNG will keep per km costs in check.

My usage is around 5000km per year with 80% driving on highways, 15% driving on hill mostly up to Solan and 5% within Delhi locally. For your usage, a hybrid car makes more sense. With 40-50 km daily of city driving in Noida and no major traffic, an electric car would not deliver a meaningful cost advantage over a hybrid, and you would be taking on charging infrastructure and range planning for no real benefit. The Maruti Suzuki Victoris Hybrid is the best fit for your requirements. It is a full hybrid, so it offers excellent fuel efficiency in city driving and is also comfortable to be chauffeur-driven. The rear seat is spacious, the ride is comfortable, and the car is easy to live with. Headroom is a bit tight if you are on the taller side. Avoid the sunroof if that is the case for you.The Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder Hybrid is mechanically identical, but the Victoris gets a more premium interior and a better feature set at a similar price.If you can charge at home and still want to go electric, the Tata Sierra EV is the best option for your needs, but given your usage, the hybrid is the more sensible choice.

For your usage, the Skoda Kylaq is a good upgrade. Your 65 km daily expressway run means you need a car that is stable at speed and comfortable over long distances. The Kylaq delivers that very well. At your budget, you could get a lower-spec automatic, which would make it easy to drive in city traffic, which matters for your twice-a-month urban runs. The automatic gearbox is a torque converter, so its shifts are very smooth and it is very reliable too. The only possible downside is that fuel efficiency is not going to be very high, and given your high daily running, this is something that might bother you. If so, opt for the Maruti Suzuki Fronx 1.2L, which is also good at higher speeds and would be more fuel efficient. The auto box in this case is an AMT, which would not be as smooth, but this would only be a bit of a bother in city traffic and not on steady highway cruising.

I have been using Honda City manual for the last 21 years. Now, I want a car with automatic transmission for city running mostly. My average running is around 1000km a month. Can you suggest whether I should buy Seltos, Creta, Kushaq or Elevate?

The Kia Seltos IVT is the most natural recommendation here. The IVT gearbox is also very smooth, and the Seltos feels more premium and feature-rich than the competition. Alternatively, consider the Honda Elevate. The CVT is exceptionally smooth in stop-start traffic, Honda’s ownership experience is proven, and the car is simple, reliable and easy to live with.The Skoda Kushaq is the driver’s choice, with a more engaging driving experience, but in city running, that doesn't matter much. The Hyundai Creta is a good all-rounder, but it is due for a full model change in 2027, which makes the Seltos and Elevate stronger recommendations at this point.
