Hello. I own a 2022 Tata Punch manual and have recently started facing severe cabin rattling while driving off-road and while reversing at low speeds. I have escalated the issue to Tata Motors' top management, but there has been no solution. I am now planning to upgrade to a 1.5-litre SUV. My average driving is around 100km per month. Please suggest a good SUV with better build quality, performance, mileage and, most importantly, reliability.

With just 100 km per month, fuel savings will be negligible, so a petrol car is the sensible choice. The bigger concern is your experience with the Punch and the desire for a genuinely reliable, well-built upgrade. The Maruti Suzuki Brezza 1.5 petrol is the recommendation here. It is a genuinely well-engineered SUV with a proven engine and a strong ownership track record. The 1.5 petrol is the only one in the segment and is punchy enough for highway use, while still being fuel-efficient. The 6-speed torque converter automatic is smooth and reliable, making it a good fit for your usage, and it will also fit in your budget. The Brezza also offers a good balance of ride comfort and driving enjoyment, and it is a clear step up from the Punch in terms of overall quality and refinement.

Considering the Suzuki build quality I am bit sceptical to go for Brezza. Can you suggest other alternatives (brand SUV).
