VinFast has launched the
VF7 in India at ₹20.89–25.49 lakh (ex-showroom), with five trims on offer. It is a larger SUV than the Hyundai Creta Electric, with a 59.6kWh battery in the entry-level Earth variant and 70.8kWh in higher trims. Outputs range from 204hp/310Nm in single-motor FWD form to 348hp/500Nm in dual-motor AWD, capable of 0-100kph in 5.8sec.
For context, the
Creta Electric, priced at ₹17.99–23.49 lakh, is smaller, with 42kWh and 51.4kWh batteries, producing up to 171hp and offering 390–473km claimed range (MIDC). While the VF7 outpaces the Creta in performance, the true Creta EV rival is the smaller
VinFast VF6, which competes more directly on size, price, and efficiency.
