Whenever I take my Hyundai Santro out after a two-three day gap, it emits a squeaking sound. Also, when waiting at signals, I sometimes get the feeling that the car is moving. I’ve had it checked but the workshop says there’s no noise or problem in the suspension or joint rods. Please advise.

Shridhar P, via email

AAA Squeaking noises are likely to be caused by worn-out bushes – either in the suspension or tie-rod joints. Also have the timing belt inspected and replaced if required.
