•1dHi team, I am waiting for the next-generation Creta hybrid, considering current fuel prices and the overall situation. My monthly usage is around 900 km, mainly in Chennai city. I cancelled my Seltos Turbo DCT booking and hope I have taken the right decision. I will have to manage with my current Ignis manual for another six months.

Expect the next-gen Creta to hit the showroom in 2027, so you will have to hold on to your current car till then. Also, whether Hyundai will launch a hybrid powertrain along with the petrol version or defer its launch by a few more months, is something we'll have to wait and watch.
Do keep in mind that the hybrid tech will be substantially more expensive than a corresponding petrol version, so be prepared to shell out a large initial premium, something which only makes sense if your usage is very high, let's say over 1800km a month. Only then will you be able to recoup that initial premium and benefit from the hybrid's lower running costs. Since your monthly usage is only 900km, opting for a petrol version could make more financial sense.

•1hAFAIK, Creta has a wet clutch even if it is DCT, so the overall impression/feedback is it should hold slightly better than VW DSG. But off late, both are well refined and gone are those days of DCT/DSG nightmares. If you are too concerned, I guess you can go for IVT.
