Hi. I own a 2016 Activa 3G that has run around 49,000 kms. Would like to move to an electric scooter. Since my running is around 12 to 15 kms on average in a day, mostly in city traffic, is it advisable to move to an electric 2-wheeler? Also, which will be a buying option for my kind of usage.

Since your daily run is quite short, one of the entry-level variants of the TVS iQube or Bajaj Chetak models would make perfect sense. The iQube 2.2 is a great, no-nonsense electric scooter that will have more than enough range for your daily needs, and it doesn't feel hamstrung by lower performance or a barebones features list. You could even look at the Chetak C3001 and C3501 models, which will offer you more range with similar performance. The Chetak is also one of the most spacious electric scooters around, so if you are particularly tall, it may be the one to go for over the iQube.

Take test rides of both and go for the one you lean towards more before making your decision.

I have noticed that over a time, after 3-4 yrs the fixtures of i cube become loose, started vibration, loosen... So what's your opinion over.. longability factor, I want to invest for durable value.

@dmrc11613 also a point to be noted is that if the owners old activa did approx 50k kms and if this new EV does even a half of it that's 25k kms in 4-5 years he or she would end up saving atleast 50k INR on spending dbd

Hi have platina 100 cc purchased in 2007 lives delhi i runs total 10543 km total . Can i buy i TVS iQube Or redeon 100 cc because after 15 years rule my bike is not runs in delhi what I do does it's is sense to purchase 165000 e scooter Or i buy redeon for 75000. Because in delhi only ev are running from July 2028 can I go for redeon Or tvs iQube?

I am a first-time car buyer and have recently started driving, so I have limited driving experience. My usage will be around 200-300km within Chennai city, with highway travel to my native place, around 650km away, twice a year. Go for the Maruti Suzuki Brezza petrol manual. It is the most sensible first car for your needs. The naturally aspirated petrol engine is smooth, easy to drive and forgiving for a new driver, while the clutch and gearbox are light and user-friendly in city traffic. The Brezza is also one of the most reliable cars in the segment, with Maruti’s strong service network and low maintenance costs, which is important for a first-time owner. It is also a safe car with a solid build and good crash test ratings. The roads are somewhat okay, with some bad stretches but mostly good roads. I’m looking for an automatic transmission. Hatchbacks, compact sedans, and compact SUVs are all fine. My budget is flexible, between Rs. 12 lakh and Rs. 14 lakh. I have shortlisted 3-4 vehicles, namely: 1. Honda Amaze ZX CVT 2. Maruti Brezza ZXi Automatic 3. With 40 percent city and 60 percent highway use, the 3XO is the better fit among your three choices. Its turbo petrol engine has considerably stronger low- and mid-range performance than the Brezza and Amaze, which will be useful on state highways, particularly when carrying passengers and luggage. It also has a well-judged ride that copes well with broken roads.The Brezza ZXi AT would be the choice for easier ownership. Its petrol engine is smoother, and Maruti's service network is a significant advantage, while its ride quality is very good on poor roads. It is also the more relaxed choice if outright performance is not important.The Amaze ZX CVT is worth considering if you prefer a sedan.
