I currently own a 2009 WagonR with about four years left until the next re-registration. This is my primary vehicle; I also have a 2018 Honda City for occasional highway trips. I want to replace the WagonR and am open to a used car up to ₹6 lakh or a new car up to ₹8 lakh. My top priorities are easy entry and exit for elders with mobility limitations, good mileage, and comfort. My daily commute is under 50 km and mainly in city and suburbs. Please suggest suitable options.

The new Maruti Wagon R will serve your needs best. It is more spacious, more grown up and will be comfier than your 2009 version. Its light controls, efficient engine and good visibility make it a very user-friendly car.

Alternatively, you may consider a Tata Punch for its high seating, robustness, and ease of getting in and out.
