What's your opinion on the Honda Elevate? Is it a good choice for someone planning to keep a car for a long time?
Yes, the Honda Elevate is a very sensible long-term ownership choice. Honda’s biggest strength is its reputation for reliability and durability, and the Elevate follows that philosophy. The naturally aspirated petrol engine is simple, proven and free from the complexity of turbocharging or hybrid systems, which makes it a low-stress ownership proposition over 8-10 years. The CVT automatic is also a reliable and smooth unit, well-suited to city driving.
The Elevate is not the most feature-rich or the most exciting car in the segment, but it is a genuinely well-rounded SUV. It has a comfortable ride, good ground clearance and a spacious cabin, and Honda’s service network is strong in most major cities. The only real drawback is that the engine of this Honda car is not as punchy as some turbocharged rivals, so highway overtakes require a bit more planning, and cabin refinement is not as good as rivals.
Overall, if your priority is a dependable, fuss-free car that you can keep for a long time, the Elevate is one of the best choices in the segment. It may not grab headlines, but it is exactly the kind of car that keeps owners happy for years.

@sherryr After driving the Elevate, I felt extremely comfortable. Lacks in some primary features as I think Honda is notorious for cost cutting. Overall a very good buy. I was one of the earliest buyers of Elevate in November 2023.
I've only test driven the Elevate.
@autocar.india Thanks for the detailed description about Honda Elevate.
I agree with this 👍. Absolutely love my Elevate. Makes driving pleasurable even in congested traffic. The car feels genuinely grounded, as in doesn't feel like it might roll over or topple even in a tight turn. It's pretty silent almost like an ev. Nothing but love for my Elevate
Smooth ride, love to hear when engine roars while accelerating. . No nonsense features. It offers all that you want from a car like class, reliability, mileage, peace of mind , strong body structure, safety. Real world mileage on highway 19 kmpl in city 11- 12kmpl. No funky features . Buttons well placed .what to say for those who love quality over noise
The Elevate isn't a car that excites you during its first week, but its true value shines years down the road. I initially wanted a car from a higher segment and felt like I was settling for this - I didn't even post a photo of it on social media or announced it to mg friends, when I bought it three years ago. Looking back now, I regret not giving this car the respect it deserved. It has been a completely fuss-free, reliable machine that has safely carried my family around without a single hiccup. If you want a dependable car that simply gets the job done every time without any trouble, this is it.
There is no doubt that Honda Elevate is a good choice, I would rate this as a 5 star car. Good looks, good built quality, Japanese technology has always been the best. Honda has given good quality cars City, Jazz, Amaze & Brio.
Slightly disagree
I feel elevate is not comparable to same segment vehicles. Though the price they have taken no comforts given. Adding to this with in the cabin noise from outside is too high and I feel honda is not fit to make suvs. After paying same amount like other competive vehicles, I feel it's waste of money. Life time regret. No ventilated seats, huge outside noise comes in side, less mileage. Finally it's a blunder I did in my life by taking elevate. My opinion one should not take elevate at all. Highway sound is too much. Adding to this the mrf tyres creates other friction I feel. Totally my experience is disaster. Rama rao
@periramu sell your car and look for other ones. I am pretty happy car to own for long term. I own one Honda jazz and one honda elevate. Apart from noise, there is no problem at all. Honda is Honda

Hi Team, I have XUV 500 Diesel and want to add one more car for city drive in Mumbai traffic. Should I opt for EV or Strong Hybrid? Budget between 15-20 L. Plz advice.
@vjr9 For Mumbai traffic, EV is a better pick for you due to low running cost and easy to drive, if you have home charging. Hybrid is a safer option if charging isn’t sorted or you do longer drives too. What’s your daily run and charging setup?
