The Dominar is quicker and offers better comfort, but the Hunter has some strengths that could become apparent further down the road.
Which one is better between the Royal Enfield Hunter 350 and the Bajaj Dominar 250? I’m looking for comfortable yet powerful options. My usage will be for riding around 20km to the office from Monday to Friday. I may do some weekend rides to nearby places as well. I have used a Suzuki Gixxer SF SP for 32,000km since November 2017. My usage pattern will remain similar.

Hunter has better torque and low-range performance, the Bajaj is a much quicker bike and will be more at ease on the highway. Both weigh about 180kg, but the
Dominar looks and feels like a much bigger bike. The Dominar is also much more comfortable both for the rider and passenger.
Between the two, the Bajaj has more to offer in terms of comfort and capability, but the Hunter responds with its style and brand value, and it will probably have better resale value down the road as well. The Dominar’s engine is smooth and refined, but it can’t match the character of the Enfield motor, which is also very smooth and has proven to be reliable. The Hunter has a heavy clutch and firm rear suspension, so if you ride in an area with bad roads or bad traffic, that can become a pain to deal with on a daily basis.
The Dominar 250 is priced only slightly higher than the top Hunter variants, but you could save significantly more by going for some of the lower Hunter variants. Ultimately, you need to decide between what both bikes have to offer you, and a test ride will make that more clear.
