Tata Punch Camo Edition: what’s new?

The most notable update on the Punch Camo Edition is a new Seaweed Green exterior colour, that’s offered in a dual-tone shade with a contrasting white roof. This is different from the Foliage Green shade that was offered with the previous version of the Punch Camo Edition. It also gets new dark-grey 16-inch alloy wheels as well as ‘Camo’ badges on the front fenders.

On the inside, the Punch Camo Edition gets an all-black interior theme, as opposed to the dual-tone dashboard on the regular Punch. There are ‘Camo’ graphics on the seat upholstery and on the door pads, and the interior door handles have also been blacked out.

The Punch Camo Edition is available on a top-spec trim, so it comes equipped with all the niceties such as a 10.25-inch touchscreen, a semi-digital driver’s display, auto AC, and a wireless phone charger. Safety features include dual front airbags, ABS with EBD, rear parking camera, and rear parking sensors.

Tata Punch Camo Edition: engine, specs

The Camo Edition is available with both petrol and CNG powertrain options, so you get the 88hp, 1.2-litre, 3-cylinder naturally aspirated petrol engine, as well as the 74hp CNG version. The petrol engine gets both manual and AMT gearbox options, while the CNG is available with just a manual gearbox.

The Tata Punch rivals the likes of the Hyundai Exter, Citroen C3, Maruti Fronx, and Toyota Taisor. Its regular variants are priced between Rs 6.13 lakh – Rs 10 lakh.
