Six teams are competing in the Indian Supercross Racing League this year.

The 2025 Indian Supercross Racing League (ISRL) season resumes, with Round 2 slated to be held in Hyderabad on December 6, followed by the season finale in Calicut on December 21.

Ahead of that, here’s our ultimate guide to all the teams competing this year, how you can catch all the action live, and more.

Indian Supercross Racing League format

Unlike many racing series, supercross can bring the action right to the people in city centres. That’s because races are usually held on indoor dirt tracks, featuring steep jumps and obstacles.

There are three categories in the ISRL: 450cc and 250cc for international riders and a separate 250cc category for Indian and Asian riders. The last category gives Indian riders not just the chance to compete with but also to learn from some of the best supercross riders globally. Each team can field two riders per category. Of course, since this is a league format, the aim is to score as many points as possible for the team as a whole.

Bikes are provided by Honda, KTM, Yamaha and Kawasaki.

Indian Supercross Racing League teams

A total of six teams are competing this year, including two new entrants: Indewheelers Motorsports and Tricolor KTM. Several teams from the inaugural season have returned as well, including Season 1 champion BigRock Motorsports, which is co-owned by Indian rally heavyweight CS Santosh.

For this season, ISRL has also introduced a new ‘rider retention’ mechanism, under which teams that competed in Season 1 are only allowed to retain up to two riders from last year. The final grid features some big names like 9-time Australian SX-MX champion Matt Moss, as well as promising Indian talent like Rugved Barguje and Ikshan Shanbhag.

There are a few rider changes for the upcoming Hyderabad round, though. Lucas Imbert will be filling in for Greg Aranda, while Lorenzo Camporese will step in for Maxime Desprey at Indewheelers. At Reise, Charles Lefrancois will fill in for Thomas Ramette, while Justin Rodbell will replace Jordi Tixier at BB Racing.
