Why would anyone pay Rs 3-5 lakh more for a 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol SUV like the Honda Elevate over a 1.0-litre turbo-petrol car like the Skoda Kylaq, especially when the Kylaq offers more torque and a torque-converter automatic? The turbo produces around 178Nm from 1,800rpm, while the naturally aspirated engine makes about 145Nm at around 4,300rpm. The turbo should also lose less power at altitude, and the torque-converter automatic avoids the concerns associated with a dry-clutch DCT. Is the Elevate really worth the premium for long-term reliability and refinement?

I am looking for a car specifically for weekend drives of atleast 500 kms and occasional city usage. I have shortlisted Maruti Brezza, Skoda kylaq, Hyundai exter on sub 4m SUV and Maruti grand vitara, Honda Elevate on suv side.which one to choose? Whether to go with Auomatic or manual? Hi, I was considering a Kylaq Sig+, the Venue N line N6 and maybe Honda Elevate, trying to keep the cost below 13lakhs. A first-time car buyer. It's just my wife and me, sometimes maybe take our parents around. Our goals are weekend trips, and weekdays are not a lot. Want it to be a sub SUV of sorts. Would also do multistate trips sometimes. Kylaq was a no-brainer, but I was worried about Skoda maintenance and the turbo petrol engine. Should I look at NA instead? Please suggest from the above, or if there's any other car I could consider?

My current car is a 2012 Skoda Fabia Petrol 1.6 MPI. For an upgrade, I am considering the Kylaq AT, Kushaq AT or the Honda Elevate Hybrid, if it becomes available. My usage consists of limited city driving on weekends and around 10,000km of highway travel annually, including a 600km one-way trip to my hometown. My budget is Rs 15-18 lakh, although I can stretch a little if it makes sense.

Hi, I am currently using a Ford Figo 1.2 petrol, 2019. I love the car, but I am looking to upgrade as Ford has left India, and I may have issues selling it after a couple of years. Q1. Should I go ahead and sell the car, or can I keep it for a couple of years? Q2. The car has been driven around 65k, and I have been offered 2.75 lakhs. I think it's a good value, thoughts? Right now, my running in the city is approx 500-600 kms per month. I mostly use a car for my office commute, and I don’t have a bike as of now. And yearly, out of the city running of around 2000 kms per year. Please, my city running may increase in future if I change my house location or office. I am very much confused about EV and petrol cars. In EVs, I was considering the Nexon EV. In petrol I was considering, Honda Elevate, VW Taigun 2025 (1.0 and 1.5), as I am getting some deals on them, Skoda Kylaq ( budget option with the same engine).
