I am looking for a good B2-segment car. My requirements are that the mid variant should cost less than Rs. 10 lakh on-road in Bangalore, with a 70:30 city-to-highway driving ratio. I am looking for decent fuel economy of around 13-15 kmpl in the city and 18-20 kmpl on the highway, along with a manual transmission and a 4-cylinder, naturally aspirated engine. Hi, we have shortlisted two cars but are unable to decide which one to finalise: the Honda Amaze CVT ZX and Hyundai i20 IVT Asta (O). Both my wife and I will drive the car, so we want good rear-seat comfort and space. Our daily usage is around 50km. Of the 365 days in a year, around 65 days will involve highway driving, while the remaining 300 days will be city driving, usually in traffic in Chennai. We are a family of five, with four adults and one eight-year-old child. We have previously owned a Ford Fiesta and Santro Xing, so we are comfortable with both sedans and hatchbacks.
